My name is David Thoms and I am on a mission to provide as much value to others as I possibly can by sharing the topics that I enjoy and things that have helped me along the way.  I am excited to continuously share the information I am learning along the way that has allowed me to continue to grow and scale my businesses and personal life to anyone who wants to follow along.

My goal of the blog is to provide insight and value to those who are looking for untraditional career paths and understand that you don’t need a business degree from Harvard to succeed in business. I will be sharing systems, routines and mindset hacks I have learned and implemented along the way that have worked for me and will hopefully do the same for you.

My interests include movies, hanging out with my dogs (Jackie O and George W), spending time with my wife and two sons, and playing golf when I have the chance.

My motto is simple, “Build your work or business around your life and not your Life around your work/business”.  The great John C. Maxwell has said: “anything great in life worth going after will be uphill.” So, we need uphill habits in order to achieve them. I’m just a kid who went from bartending to being the youngest national sales director in the organization and now owning my own businesses. I’m on the path of failing forward and I am hopeful the info I’ll be sharing will help open the eyes of other people like me to not be afraid to go after what they want.
